The 10 rules of nutrition
The German Association of Nutrition formulated 10 rules for a
wholesome nutrition on the basis of recent scientific findings
In shortened form they are:
- Eat variably: It always depends on what, how much and how one combines the food one eats.
- Eat cereals, vegetables and fruit several times a dayt: Five dishes of vegetables and fruit a day ideally with the main meals or as snacks.
- Eat milk or products made from milk daily, fish once a week; meat, sausagessowie Eier in Maßen.
- A little fat: 70 - 90 gramm fett, ideally of vegetable origin.
- Sugar and salt in low doses. Drinks produced with sugar and addition of sugarshould be drunk only rarely. Use iodized salt.
- Drink much: 1,5 liters per day.
- Cook tasty and and gently: Cook with low temeperatures, if possible only for a short time, with a a little water and a little fat.
- Take time to eat, enjoy your meals.
- Take care of your weight and exercise.
